Want to win an iPad Mini? Sign up for USC Lambda Pi Eta’s 2013 Spring Speech Competition! Contestants will have the opportunity to deliver an informational or entertaining 3-5min speech in front of an audience for a chance to win one of our amazing prizes!

This event is open to ALL USC STUDENTS (you do not need to be a member of Lambda Pi Eta to give a speech or attend).

 

OPEN E-BOARD POSITIONS FOR LPE!

The Lambda Pi Eta executive board currently have two e-board positions open to current members: Vice President and Treasurer.

If you are a current member of LPE and want to get involved with the e-board to bring members and students exciting, relevant and fun events, please apply for in a few paragraphs – about 250-400 words on why you would like to hold the position and what you will bring tot the Executive Board.  You may apply for one, both or no positions.  The positions will be appointed by the existing LPE Executive Board.

Applicants MUST be available for weekly E-Board meetings Thursday from 4-5pm in Annenberg.

Please send your position applications to Reed at willig@usc.edu and Brittany Nicole at lahue@usc.edu by FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2012 for consideration.

Vice President
The role of Vice President is vital to Lambda Pi Eta. Basic duties include collaborating with the President on chapter matters and filling in for the President in the case of his/her absence. In addition, the Vice President is responsible for organizing and running the monthly open chapter meetings in which all LPE members are able to attend. The Vice President will work closely with the Events Coordinators to plan academic events for LPE members. Candidates for Vice President must be well-organized, punctual and able to work in a team setting.

Treasurer
The role of Treasurer is essential to ensuring that LPE can adequately service its members. The Treasurer’s basic duties include maintaining the organization’s bank account, making bill payments and budgeting for events. The Treasurer is expected to keep the Executive Board informed on all matters pertaining to membership dues and funding. Candidates for Treasurer must be well-organized, responsible and trustworthy.

Fellow Trojans and Annenberg students,

Welcome back for another exciting year at USC!  As the fall semester picks up speed, Lambda Pi Eta is accepting applications for new members.

Eligible applications must:

1. Be a Communication, Journalism, or Public Relations major
2. Have a minimum cumulative USC AND Annenberg GPA of 3.5
3. Completed/registered for 60 units, 12 from Annenberg.

Please fill out this application or pick up and return an application in ASC140.  Applications are due by September 28th at 5pm.
